TeamJCMCF recently lost one of our own - Ashley Walker.

Her family has respectfully requested that we refrain from sharing her obituary or memorial tributes on Facebook or any social media. To honor their request, we have created this page to remember our friend.

Obituary for Ashley Ann Walker

JACKSON- Ashley Ann Walker, age 37, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on November 7, 2025.

Ashley was born on January 30, 1988, the daughter of Philip W. Fowler Jr. and Tammara L. Knierim. She attended Blissfield High School and graduated with the class of 2006 and later earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Siena Heights University in 2016. Ashley worked at the Jackson County Medical Care Facility until the time of her passing.

Ashley was a devoted mother to her three children, Madeline, Grace and John Walker III. She enjoyed kayaking, camping, and taking her children on road trips to Tennessee and Kentucky. Ashley loved caring for animals and recently brought two kittens into her home. She brought comfort and joy to the patients she cared for; they found joy when Ashley brought in her children to visit them.

Ashely is survived by her mother, Tammara Knierim, father, Philip W. Fowler Jr., twin daughters, Madeline and Grace Walker, son, John Walker III, sister, Nikki Muter, uncle, Keith Knierim, along with numerous extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, LeeEllen Driggs and Hugh Driggs, along with other close relatives.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 3-5:00 p.m. at Wagley Funeral Home, Tagsold Chapel, Blissfield.
